Alan Wake to be released on the PC in Q1 2012
Great news for Alan Wake fans, it will finally be released for the PC in 2012, the system it was designed for. Alan Wake follows bestselling thriller novel writer Alan Wake, as he uncovers the mystery behind his wife’s disappearance while both are on vacation in the small town of Bright Falls in the Pacific Northwest, where he experiences blackouts and visions of characters and ideas from his latest novel, which he cannot remember writing, coming to life. Darkness plays a significant role in the game, and the core combat gameplay of Alan Wake consists of “fighting with light”. In its pacing and structure, Alan Wake is similar to a thriller television series, with episodes that includeplot twists and cliffhangers
Dungeon Keeper 2 from GoG a disgrace, how to fix it
I loved Dungeon Keeper 2 back in the day, so I just recently bought the Classic Dungeon Keeper 2 from GoG, I love GoG but the state of Dungeon Keeper 2 is a disgrace, crashing, flickering, weird lagging on the title screen (although I think I remember this on my old PC). Anyways to release in this state with the idea that people can play it on a modern PC is taking the piss, at least when they bothered to compile it into their installer they should ahve set options for resolution, and 3D acceleration plus compatability. OK So how to fix the main issues with Dungeon Keeper 2 Right click DKII.exe in your...

On the Crystal Scar, two teams of five players battle it out over control of five capture points in an effort to destroy the opposing team’s Nexus. Gameplay is designed to be fluid, with both teams constantly seizing the advantage from one another. Special care has been taken to ensure that all of your favorite champions are viable and fun to play in...
F@ck you Ubisoft
Well I purchased From dust on steam but now I cant play it because I cant connect to the Ubisoft servers, you see Ubsoft being complete fucking retards have added their own DRM, anyway I will be looking for a refund from steam.. Fuck you ubisoft!!! Ubisoft’s God game From Dust has been available for less than 24 hours but its purchasers are already being refunded by online distribution giant Steam after a breach of terms by Ubisoft. The publisher stated that there would be no DRM with the game other than a one-time-activation. However this seems to have turned out to be a big fat lie as the inclusion of...
Space Pirates and Zombies
What is SpaZ AKA Space Pirates and Zombies Space Pirates and Zombies takes place far enough in the future that Earth has become a toxic backwater planet. The galaxy has been colonized by humans, and the only means to travel to new star systems is through highly restricted and well defended warp gates. It is well known that systems closer to the galactic core become richer and richer as well as more scientifically advanced. This has led to theories of a secret system with a cache of treasure or knowledge at the galactic core feeding this growth. As a pirate, you must assemble a fleet and discover what treasure...

Winners of Petaflop Supercomputer Contest Are…
Two weeks ago, we posed an open-ended question to the research community: What scientific problems would you tackle with a petaflop supercomputer? Today, we reveal the three proposals selected to win exclusive early access to an NVIDIA Tesla K20 GPU. Contest entries came in from hundreds of researchers around the world. Their proposals ranged from....
GTC Wraps Up: By The Numbers
The third GPU Technology Conference (GTC) ended Thursday much as it began – with a jam-packed keynote session, standing-room only break-out sessions and a small galaxy of schmooze-fests along the sidelines. Indeed, the final sessions were as crowded as those on the morning of Day One. NVIDIA used the event – which is designed to....
Space: The Next, Though Not Final, Frontier for GPU’s
Considering NASA completed multiple missions to the moon more than 40 years ago using the technological equivalent of chicken wire and duct tape, landing a robotic lunar rover with modern technology should be a pushover, right? Not exactly, explained Robert Boehme and Wes Faler, of Part-Time Scientists, during their Day Three keynote address in front....
