LOTRO Lotteries Suspended for Migration

With the migration of our EU friends to join us on Turbine service scheduled to start tomorrow, May 31st, Turbine is suspending the lotteries on the my.lotro system until migration is completed.

As the migration means we will be adding 14 servers to the existing service, there is an anticipated impact to the my.lotro.com service and associated systems. The lotteries add a significant amount of overhead to that service. Rather than risk lost winning, lotteries failing to start or end correctly., servers being excluded from the lotteries, or other potential issues we’ll be disabling the system after 1AM Eastern Time on May 31.

The lotteries will return as soon as the migration is complete and we’re confident the system can handle the load.

Today there are several lotteries running with some good prizes so be sure to take advantage of these.
